Magnetic levitation (maglev) is an innovative transportation and is a highly advanced technology. A further development of the system was through the INNOVATIVE ACCESS TEAM IAT-MAGLEV brought for patent maturity it is sometimes said to be the first fundamental innovation in the field of railroad technology since the invention of the railway. The most important usage of magnetic levitation is in operation of magnetically levitated trains. These vehicles move along magnetic fields that are established between the vehicle and its guideway. Conditions of no mechanical contact and no friction provided by such technology makes it feasible to reach higher speeds of travel attributed to such trains.
